7th-12th Mixtape Monopoly Cloud901 at Benjamin L Hooks Central Library (3030 Poplar Ave., 38111)
This is an advance course on audio production and recording. Teens who enter into the course have the chance to record their songs for a possible spot on the CLOUD901 MixTape. 25 spots available.

Wednesday, April 12th 5:00pm-8:00pm

 7th-12th Bookin Elective at BRIDGES (477 N. 5th St., 38105)
 Students will have the opportunity to watch a short film about combining ballet and jookin, after which they will interact with the director and two of the film’s stars and even learn a short routine! 100 spots available.

Monday, April 17th 5:30pm-7:30pm

 Partnering with UT Extension, you will experience a real world situation and then apply this experience to your own lives. 100 spots available.

7th-12th CHARGE Conference Community Action and Elective at University of Memphis Fogelman College of Business (3675 Central Ave., 38152)

The CHARGE Memphis Youth Conference is a youth-led event–presented by Le Bonheur’s Be Proud! Be Responsible!, Bridge Builders CHANGE: Memphis Against Sexual Harassment and Assault (MASHA) and Gender and Sexuality Equality–held to raise awareness on different sexual health issues affecting Memphis youth. This one-day conference will include panels, activities, and keynote speakers discussing topics such as sexual violence, teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and LGBTQ+ issues. Did I mention that it’s free? We will also be providing lunch and connecting students with Memphis organizations working every day in teen pregnancy and teen sexual health. The conference will include 2 keynote speakers, multiple activity options, an LGBTQ question and answer panel with Memphis game changers, and in-depth discussions about the topics that matter most to this age group. 300 spots available.

“Youth in schools are oftentimes treated more like criminals than students. Share your own experience with school discipline and learn about ways to change school culture.”

9th-12th LITE Memphis Community Action and Elective at Crews Center for Entrepreneurship (3618 Walker Avenue Memphis, TN 38111)
 Want to change the world? Want to start a business or launch a campaign? Participate in this workshop by LITE Memphis where you will learn what it takes to launch your own idea. Lunch will be provided. The students who come up with the best ideas will be chosen to be LITE Finalists and receive $750 in support, 1 on 1 coaching, and access to internships. Counts as a Community Action and an Elective. 25 spots available.

7th-12th Mentor UP at Parkview (1914 Poplar Ave., 38104)
We will be participating in a dual mentorship program where youth mentor seniors in technology and seniors mentor adults on life experiences. 25 spots available.

7th-12th Wildflower Blight Community Action at BRIDGES ( 477 N. 5th St., 38105)
 Working with the Blight Initiative, you will help develop 3 wildflower gardens and painting abandoned houses into murals. These wildflower garden will become a home for the endangered monarch butterflies and simultaneously help raise property values.  50 spots available

7th-12th Letter Writing for Earth Day at BRIDGES (477 N. 5th St., 38105)
Join us to celebrate earth day by writing letters for earth to President Trump. After learning about Climate Change, students will have an opportunity to express their perspective as youth and the future of our country to our government. 50 spots available.
