Since its inception 11 years ago, BRIDGES Future Builders has provided experiential, hands-on learning for a diverse group of middle-school students to become leaders in building a better future for themselves and their community. Future Builders serves all middle school students - sixth, seventh and eighth graders.
Future Builders is a year-round program consisting of service-leadership camps during fall, winter, spring and summer breaks and monthly outdoor adventure/leadership development activities. Activities take place at the BRIDGES Center and at a variety of area outdoors destinations. What sort of activities? Glad you asked.

How to participate
You can become a Future Builder by
registering online. Once the application is submitted and the $15 annual registration fee paid, a student becomes a Future Builder until the start of ninth grade. Participants must register and pay for each individual camp or outing, or you can get a discount by paying for the full year in advance. Payment is based on a sliding scale. Get more information on payments/fees and pay online
here.
Future Builders meet once a month, and the length varies from day-long excursions to 2-week leadership camps (depending on the month and season).
Don't Forget These 2 Simple Steps:
1. Complete the
online registration form.
2.
Pay for Future Builder events (such as summer camp, fall break camp, monthly activities).
It is preferable for each school to have a Future Builders Sponsor to ensure that youth leaders from each school aren't missing out on this opportunity. Each school should send its sponsor’s name and contact information to jboone@bridgesusa.org at the start of each new school year.
