Every day is Earth Day
At the end of 2008, BRIDGES set a lofty goal: to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Memphis by 10 million pounds by 2010 with its new program Ordinary to Extraordinary: Learning and Leading Green. After a year of engaging programs and more than 1,500 participants, we reached the goal for the O2E Challenge at year's end. O2E participants have reduced GGEs in Memphis by 10,682,908 pounds. Join us in celebrating this great accomplishment!
But remember - EVERY DAY is Earth Day and there's still more to due to ensure a greener and more sustainable Memphis, so let's all keep up the good work. Our O2E goal for 2011 is 11 million pounds. Folks have already committed to actions that will reduce GGEs by 3.5 million pounds this year! So if you're new to the challenge or you're ready to recommit, sign up to take the O2E Challenge today!

The BRIDGES Center is the first green commercial building in Memphis, and now you can experience the center like never before!
Ordinary to Extraordinary: Learning & Leading Green! (O2E) uses the BRIDGES Center as a teaching tool to provide experiential, hands-on learning for a diverse group of youth and adults
to become leaders for environmental sustainability. With museum-like interpretive displays, interactive learning stations and green leadership challenges, the O2E experience is a fun and engaging way to learn about one of the most important issues of our lifetime. T

You can experience O2E with your family and friends, with your church group or corporate group, with your classmates and colleagues.
