We provide experiential education and training for a diverse group of youth and
adults to become leaders for environmental sustainability.

O2E Programs

FOR STUDENTS:

  • Experiential fieldtrip to the BRIDGES Center for a first-hand investigation of green building design, sustainability principles and leadership for sustainability
  • Supplemental hands-on environmental education curriculum (based on middle school math and science standards)
  • Variety of experiments, activities and 'green' leadership challenges
  • Teamwork to build model sustainable schools
  • Students continue their O2E Experience as they are called to join the larger community in the O2E Challenge.

FOR THE COMMUNITY:

  • Interactive, experiential tour of the BRIDGES Center for a first-hand investigation of green building design, sustainability principles and leadership for sustainability
  • The learning and leading continues long after the O2E Experience is over, as community members are called to join the O2E Challenge.

How to participate

Students or administrators can register their class, student group and/or school for the O2E Student Experience here. Student fees for the fieldtrip experience are $6.  Check with Mollie Campbell to see if your school group is eligible to get these fees covered by a generous scholarship from the Junior League of Memphis.  Transportation and lunch must be provided by the school.  O2E Curriculum fees are $100.

Church, corporate, non-profit leaders, moms, dads, and individuals can register for an O2E Community Experience here. We recommend a minimum $5 donation to BRIDGES for the O2E Community Experience.
