7th-12th CHARGE Community Action and Elective (04/08/2017)
April 8, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 2:30 pm
The CHARGE Memphis Youth Conference is a youth-led event–presented by Le Bonheur’s Be Proud! Be Responsible!, Bridge Builders CHANGE: Memphis Against Sexual Harassment and Assault (MASHA) and Gender and Sexuality Equality–held to raise awareness on different sexual health issues affecting Memphis youth. This one-day conference will include panels, activities, and keynote speakers discussing topics such as sexual violence, teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention, and LGBTQ+ issues.
Did I mention that it’s free?
We will also be providing lunch and connecting students with Memphis organizations working every day in teen pregnancy and teen sexual health.
The conference will include 2 keynote speakers, multiple activity options, an LGBTQ question and answer panel with Memphis game changers, and in-depth discussions about the topics that matter most to this age group.
Come join us for a Youth Led conference about sexual health, sexual violence and gender and sexuality equality. Lunch will be provided and you will have a chance to meet youth and adult activists working on these issues here in Memphis! 300 spots available
