Join TeamBRIDGES for an all-day climbing trip to Tishomingo State Park! Students will have the opportunity to climb and rappel off natural rock faces in the park with guidance from TB staff. Details regarding transportation, food, and gear will be emailed separately. 12 spots available.

At SPCH, survivors and their allies will come together to create a community of sharing and healing. There will be food, coffee, and tea! 25 spots available.

7th-12th Memphis Islamic Center Interfaith Community Action at Midtown Masjid (1288 Jackson Ave., 38107)
Working with Memphis Islamic Center, 901 Ummah, and MIFA, Bridge Builders will work in interfaith teams to serve the community around the Midtown Mosque. Bridge Builders will also get a tour of the mosque and have a chance to debunk misconceptions about the Muslim community. 25 spots available.

10th-12th Advocating for Sexual Health Education Community Action at BRIDGES (477 N. 5th St., 38105)
Bridge Builders will participate in a “Domestic Violence 101” workshop hosted by Le Bonheur’s Be Proud! Be Responsible! That aims to help students identify healthy and unhealthy relationships and increase their awareness regarding teen dating violence. The Domestic Violence 101 workshop will be followed by an LGBTQ+ workshop facilitated by OUTMemphis. This workshop aims to provide information specifically about LGBTQ teens and their increased risks around teen pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and STDs. Students will also learn how to confront stereotypes held around LGBTQ teens and will practice negotiating skills for adopting safe prevention methods with their partners. Students must have signed parental consent to participate that will be emailed you a week before the event. 25 spots available.

Bridge Builders will participate with the MNM children in making arts and crafts kits. 20 spots available.

7th-12th Temple Israel Interfaith Community Action at Temple Israel (1376 E. Massey Rd., 38120)
Bridge Builders will work with Temple Israel youth to dispel stereotypes of the Jewish community while helping to run TI’s annual Purim Carnival. Families and younger siblings are welcome to stay for the carnival. 25 spots available.
