Jim Keras Subaru’s “Share The Love” Gift Breaks A Record To Build BRIDGES
On Friday night, May 10, BRIDGES hosted a special customer appreciation climb night to celebrate Jim Keras Subaru’s record-breaking gift of $42,133 in support of Bridge Builders youth programs.
The Jim Keras Subaru team announced last November that BRIDGES would be their selected local beneficiary for the 2018 Subaru of America, Inc., Share the Love event. From November 15, 2018, to January 2, 2019, the company donated $250 for every new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased at more than 628 participating Subaru retailers nationwide to the customer’s choice of either a designated hometown organization or one of four national organizations.
This year’s total of $42,133 is the most Jim Keras Subaru has ever raised for a local nonprofit partner.
“We’re so grateful for this overwhelming show of support from the team at Jim Keras and all the customers who chose to invest in local youth leaders during the Share the Love campaign,” said BRIDGES Director of Communications Kat Netzler.
“There’s a reason why there are always multiple Subarus in the parking lot here at BRIDGES. We really respect a brand that’s so focused on love and inclusion, and that also celebrates a sense of adventure and fun,” she continued. “But most importantly, BRIDGES and Subaru share a commitment to making our community better for the future. We’re all about ‘sharing the love’ by unifying Memphis, starting with youth, and we’re so grateful to Jim Keras and their customers for supporting that mission.”
