New Senior Leadership Promotions At BRIDGES!

BRIDGES is proud to announce the promotion, effective Feb. 1, 2019, of Mario Hendrix to Vice President of Bridge Builders and Tosca Nance-Jones to Vice President of Community Engagement. 

Hendrix, an alumnus of the youth program, has been a part of the BRIDGES family for more than 25 years, most recently serving as Senior Director of Bridge Builders.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Memphis and master’s in psychology from the University of Phoenix and is a graduate of the Leadership Memphis Executive Class and New Memphis Institute Fellows program.

Hendrix is a winner of the Memphis Beat the Odds Cathryn Rivers Johnson Award and was named to the Memphis Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list in 2017.

Nance-Jones joined the BRIDGES team in 2015 as Director of Community Engagement, focusing on program recruitment and strategic partnerships.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and logistics management from North Carolina A&T State University and has nearly 20 years of corporate and nonprofit leadership experience, serving organizations in North Carolina, Virginia, Washington (D.C.), and in Memphis.

Prior to BRIDGES, she served as the director of programs for a national organization where she specialized in program development, curriculum design, event management, and community cultivation.

Effective Feb. 15, BRIDGES also promoted Jeremy Andrews, formerly a strategic partnership officer, to the role of Director of Development.

Andrews joined the BRIDGES team in 2017 to focus on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding strategic partnerships with corporate, faith-based, government, and non-profit partners. He holds a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and a master’s degree in business administration from Arkansas State University and is a graduate of the New Memphis Institute’s Embark program and NEXUS Leaders.  He has over 10 years’ experience in various corporate project management and sales roles.

Andrews currently serves as Community Engagement Chair for the Greater Memphis Chamber’s Young Professional Board and is a member of the New Memphis Embark Advisory Board.
